    Bob, I wanted to let you know my long time friend and your acquaintance, Ned Diehl from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania passed away on October 1, 2023. He spent the winters in Cayucos and liked to visit Morro Rock to see the Peregrines and chat with you and Heather. Carol Trego, New Cumberland, Pa

      Carol, We always looked forward to seeing Ned and his wife late winter, early spring. They loved walking the beaches and boardwalks. Ned made friends with four or five of us at Morro Rock. They all knew him and greeted him by name. Even after his wife passed, Ned continued to come to Cayucos. Always stayed in the same hotel. We will all miss him. Thanks for letting us know.
