On the south side of Morro Rock, you will see a large vertical crack on the upper left. It is the place where we start naming the perching places that are used for various activities – the “diving board,” “her bedroom,” the “throne,” the “stash,” the “chimney,” the “mail slot,” the “peanut hole,” the ”butcher block.” Early in the breeding season they will often sit on the “throne” constantly sizing each other up and chupping.
